Extruded aluminium flat bar, also known as aluminum flat stock or "rectangle bar", is an excellent candidate for most processing techniques and both interior and exterior applications.
Aluminum flat bar are aluminum rods extruded to form rectangular and square aluminum strips, or long strips of aluminum alloy material obtained by rolling aluminum plates and sawing cut. Aluminum flat bars have defined edges, a smooth finish, and are light weight. Common applications include brackets and structural trim in shipbuilding. With above average corrosion resistance, this is an excellent choice wherever strength is required.

1000 series aluminum rod(1050, 1060, 1100): Al, cheap price, widely used in ordinary industry;
2000 series aluminum rod(2A16/LY16, 2A02/LY6): Al--Cu, High hardness, most used in aviation industry;
2024 aluminum rod application: Aircraft structures, rivets, truck hubs, propeller assemblies and other structural components
